According to the White House Fact Sheet, a fully developed trade war is going on, US President Donald Trump has “a total 245% of a total of 245%” on Chinese imports in the US.

The latest increase in tension between China and the US increased as Beijing asked its airlines to stop the US from receiving more boeing aircraft in response to the first imposition of 145% tariff on Chinese imports.

“More than 75 countries have already arrived to discuss new trade deals. As a result, except for China, among these discussions, the high tariffs have been stopped individually, which takes vengeance. China now faces up to 245% on imports to the United States, resulting in its retaliatory functions.”

In retaliation for the previous tariff, China allegedly asked its airlines to stop the aircraft parts and equipment from American companies.

In a statement through the White House Press Secretary Karolin Levitt, new tariffs came a few hours after Trump, he said that he said that The ball is now in China court,

“The ball is in the court of China. China needs to make a deal with us. We don’t need to make a deal with them,” Lavit said.

China reacts to 245% tariff

Reacting to the increase in tariffs so far, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that it does not seek a conflict, however, announced that Beijing would not remain silent.

China repeated the call for dialogue, although it also clarified that it was “afraid” to fight the trade war.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Gian said, “If America really wants to solve the issue through dialogue and conversation, it should stop excessive pressure, stop threatening and blackmail, and talk to China on the basis of equality, respect and mutual gains.”

Spokesperson Zhang Geigang warned the US that increasing the tariff on Chinese goods would not restore American greatness.

So far, the US and China are trading with tariffs – the US has taxed 145% on Chinese goods, and China responded with 125% tax on US products.

Since the beginning of the year, Trump has rapidly raised tariffs on Chinese imports. He also introduced 10% general tariffs on several American trade partners.
