‘Terrorist attack’ in Tel Aviv after Israel attacks Iran, Hezbollah kills 5 IDF reservists in Lebanon

On October 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the Israeli Air Force strike on Iranian missile targets and claimed that it caused serious damage to Iran’s defense capability and achieved its objectives. The statement was made during a state ceremony to honor soldiers killed in the conflict in Gaza and Lebanon. Netanyahu expressed gratitude to the US for its cooperation in the mission, while the Biden administration clarified that it was informed in advance but did not participate. In response, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, condemned the attack, calling it a “miscalculation” and emphasizing Iran’s strength and resolve. Meanwhile, Hezbollah launched attacks on northern Israel, targeting areas such as Tamra and issuing warnings to evacuate several Israeli towns near the Lebanon border, calling them potential military targets. In southern Lebanon, the IDF uncovered a major underground Hezbollah base reportedly designed to carry out attacks on Israel.
