PCOS is a condition where the ovaries produce abnormal amounts of androgens which further causes cysts to form in the ovaries. Some of the most common symptoms of PCOS are menstrual irregularities, acne formation, mood swings, and obesity. Vitamin D may help reduce PCOS symptoms. “Vitamin D deficiency can make PCOS symptoms worse. Taking vitamin D through diet or supplements may reduce some PCOS problems such as infertility, weight gain, and anxiety. This, in turn, may improve your overall health.
