New immigration rules may force millions to leave Canada

Canada’s Immigration Minister Marc Miller announced significant changes to the immigration plan, affecting millions, including Indians. By 2025, nearly five million temporary permits will expire, reducing permanent resident targets from 500,000 to 395,000 annually. Temporary foreign worker permits and study permits will also see reductions, impacting Indians in Canada seeking work or education.
