‘Call for riots was given from loudspeaker of masjid’: Union minister Sukanta Majumdar’s big claim in Murshidabad violence

West Bengal BJP president Sukanta Majumdar met with the DGP, alleging that recent violence in Murshidabad was instigated by calls from a mosque loudspeaker, citing victims’ accounts. He accused the TMC government of sheltering those with a divisive mentality and warned against the misuse of religious institutions. Suvendu Adhikari also accused TMC leaders of orchestrating the communal violence.
