‘Burned with iron rod, red chilli in private parts’: MP woman tortured by in-laws

In Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, a 32-year-old ASHA worker was brutally assaulted by her in-laws after a neighbor allegedly attempted to assault her. They accused her of infidelity, beat her, burned her with an iron, and inserted chili powder into her genitals. She was later abandoned at a dam but found by a passerby and hospitalized.
