Baylor University revival: ‘When we pray, things happen’

There is no doubt that a spiritual movement is taking place in college premises. In almost every region of the country, young people are influenced by the love of Jesus Christ. This week, thousands of students gathered at the University of Bayler for a 72 -hour continuous prayer to ask God for revival in their premises at Wako, Texas.

Since 2019, students have gathered for FM72, or Fountain Mall 72, which is under a white tent for three days to pursue the “heart of God”.

Every year, the tent has grown, the crowd has grown, but the heart remains the same.

“This is a week for prayer,” was shared on a social media post, “Charles Ramsey, PhD, Associate Chaplin and Director of Campus Ministries at Chapel and Bayler. “Prayer is powerful. Things happen when we pray.”

“Prayer has something about the penis. There is something about this consecration place where I am going there – I think it’s intentionally very important – it’s intend to pray. It is different and it is very special,” later the Beeler Lariat said.

This year’s incident closed on 30 March and concluded on 2 April. The organizers estimate that around 3,000 students gathered on the early night incident to worship, pray and listen to an encouraging message from the USA’s Mission and Director of Justice Lisa Cons.

“Your primary calling is not 100 things. It’s one thing. And if you find one thing right, you will have a complete way of resources to live other things more rightly,” he shared with the students.

The students also stood shoulder to shoulder every night under a umbrella of about 10,000 square feet to convince their fellow students, who decided for Jesus Christ.

By the end of the three -day program, 35 students gave their lives to God and many of those students participated in water baptism.

A young woman publicly commented before being baptized, “She changed my life and I want to live for her everyday.”

It has been 75 years to make whatever is happening in FM72.

According to event organizers, the students of the boiler prayed for 90 straight days for revival in 1945.

“The movement that was brought to God was felt as the entire Texas, South and even Hawaii and helped develop ministries such as The Zarneman Mission Program and Junoon Conference,” reading their website.

Ramsey says that the desire for revival and spiritual awakening still exists after decades and serves as an inspiration for FM72.

“The generation of 1945 experienced the revival, a spiritual awakening that is really important brings a clear clarity of this,” said RAMSE. “They understood that faith was not just a good thing, but it was an important element of a good life.”
