A Syrian civil defense official said White Helmets rescue workers found unidentified bodies and remains in a pharmaceutical warehouse in a Damascus suburb. According to TRT news, the remains are believed to be those of more than 20 people, including children. An AFP video journalist said the warehouse filled with boxes of medicines was located about 50 meters from the Sayyida Zainab shrine. “We received a report about the presence of bodies, bones and a foul smell at the site,” White Helmets official Ammar al-Salmo told AFP. The Sayyida Zainab suburb of south Damascus was a stronghold of pro-Iranian fighters, including Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group, before Assad was ousted from power. 02:48 HTS military chief “will disband armed wing if…” 04:38 SDF proposes “demilitarized zone” in Syrian city 05:44 UN envoy to Syria calls for ‘free and fair’ transition ‘Elections’ called n18oc_world n18oc_crux
